What we do
Every country in Europe runs its own toll system, its own price list and its own portal, usually in its own language. Vignette ID replaces that with one purchase flow covering Austria, Switzerland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, in 16 interface languages.
Products come from the national toll operators themselves — ASFINAG in Austria, Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (FOCBS / BAZG) in Switzerland, State Fund for Transport Infrastructure (SFDI) in Czech Republic, Narodna dialnicna spolocnost, a.s. (National Motorway Company, NDS) in Slovakia, Nemzeti Útdíjfizetési Szolgáltató Zrt. (National Toll Payment Services, NÚSZ) in Hungary, DARS d.d. in Slovenia, Compania Nationala de Administrare a Infrastructurii Rutiere (CNAIR) in Romania, National Toll Administration (Национално тол управление), Road Infrastructure Agency in Bulgaria, S.A. Administrația Națională a Drumurilor (National Road Administration) in Moldova — and a vignette bought here is the same registration in the same official database as one bought from the operator directly.
Alongside ordinary vignettes we sell the Alpine section tolls that a vignette does not cover, including the Brenner motorway and the Tauern, Katschberg, Karawanken, Arlberg, Gleinalm and Bosruck tunnels, and the Balkanian TollBox for drivers who cross the Balkans regularly.
How a purchase works
You choose the country, the vehicle type and the validity period, enter the licence plate and the country the vehicle is registered in, and pick the start date. Payment is by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe or SumUp; no account sign-up is required.
The vignette is registered against the plate you entered and confirmed by e-mail. Because the registration is digital, there is no waiting period and no sticker: a vignette bought minutes before a border crossing is valid from the start date you chose. Entering the plate correctly is the one thing that matters — an incorrect plate means the toll is not considered paid.

The same catalogue is sold through four channels: this website, the Vignette ID app for iOS and Android, an iframe checkout that partners embed in their own pages, and a REST API that partners call from their own systems.
